The Calendar.

The Calendar at the top options,so dull.Add pics?Change fonts?Colours?
Don't need to be a priority ^
Btw,the calendar could have links to a page of what events that are on that date.
And if there are events on that date,put a relevant pic with a word or mini icon that notifies there is an event.
Such as,25th there is a Christmas Event,at the Calendar page,there's a pic of a Christmas tree marked on the 25th with some words mentioning "Event." or an icon such as "[EVT]"/pic and when u click on it,it opens a new tab,or something like Facebook pics and shows u the details,etc.

I disabled the calendar because like you said i need to add more colors and stuff,
but i don't think it's possible.

But make it like a page/blog that has links to another page or smth like dat.
